We were first time home buyers and our Realtor Anita from Island Brokers Realty made the search for our first home a pleasant one. She was so patient with us and she really took the time to understand what we were looking for in a home. While looking for a home, Anita came across a new housing development just getting started here in Oak Harbor. She thought that for what we were looking for in style and price of a home, that this was perfect for us. She was absolutely right. It had everything that we were looking for in a home. The only problem was that this meant that we would need to wait 3 months for it to be built. That was going to be okay with us. Anita was there to walk us through the process of new construction step by step. Every detail that we needed to know, starting off with putting together offer papers, knowing what to expect from the builders, how it works with building a new house, paperwork we would need, appointments that needed to be made, who we needed to talk too, to what kind of preparations we would need in order to close on the house. Closing date was coming up quickly 5/27/10 (Thursday), there was a slight dilemma though, Memorial weekend was going to be that weekend of closing. So in order for us to be able to move in during Memorial weekend we would need to sign papers on 5/26/10 (Wednesday). It was a very stressful couple days but Anita along with our lender James worked hard and were very persistent on getting us to be able to sign papers that Wednesday. They made it happen, because of them we were able to get the keys to our brand new home, we moved in that weekend. Our realtor Anita went above and beyond to make our dream of owning our first home a dream come true.

Anita was fantastic to work with. She always made herself available for us and helped with all of the problems that came up during the process. This was our first home purchase and Anita did her absolute best to make it easy and smooth for us when any come up (which were a lot but none were her fault and she helped solve them all). Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a home.

My husband and I rented one of the apartments on Seabreeze Lane. It is furnished with cozy and warm antiques and is so comfortable. The rent includes all utilities and the location in the country makes it a perfect place for anyone who enjoys the peace and quiet. The landlords are super nice and we couldn't have been happier!

We regret having to leave as we love this house and Ed you and your staff have been great.  We appreciate everything you have done for us. I rented a studio apartment from Anita for a year. It was very comfortable and I enjoyed the view of the marina. The building was quiet and yard was always mowed. And I had no problem getting my deposit refund back within two weeks. I would definitely rent from IBR again.

Island Brokers Realty made my very first experience renting and leasing an apartment hassle free. They handled everything professionally and addressed maintenance issues promptly. I highly recommend them based on their integrity & legitimate business dealing during the time I was renting through them.

I signed a years lease with IBR then got military orders after seven months. They released me from my lease with no problem. I had the fumigation, carpet cleaning, etc. all completed before the move out inspection. I didn't know what my forwarding address was going to be yet so they wrote me a check for my deposit refund that day. IBR made the whole experience hassle-free and I was surprised at how quick they refunded our deposit for us. Great people!
